MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Beginning April 1, 2008,
the Foundation and Public Information Offices will come under the
newly created Office of College Advancement. This pairing was a key
recommendation made by the firm/consultant Brakeley Briscoe: “The
creation of a dynamic and unified image for Shoreline materials
representative of a strong fundraising program will require a close
working relationship between the Public Information Office and the
Foundation. Many institutions refer to this synergistic partnership
as an advancement model.”

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
With the recent and numerous staffing changes in the
Human Resources Office, I have exercised the section (N. Exceptions)
in the Appendices of Policy 4111 (Affirmative Action/Equal
Opportunity) regarding the College’s processes as they relate to
position vacancies, job announcements, screening, selection and
hiring.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
I would like
to thank everyone who was able to attend our Tuesday all-campus
meeting and Opening Day event. I can’t emphasize enough how
important it is for all of us to come together to discuss our
critical issues and to learn from one another. Only in this way
will we build stronger bonds of trust that will allow us to serve
our students and this College better.
