This manual is designed to give general guidance to Shoreline Community College personnel in the event of an emergency. The procedures, together with common sense, are intended to minimize injury and reduce property damage.

Please become familiar with the contents of the manual in advance . In the event of an emergency, it will serve as a quick reference for effective action. However, should an emergency occur, immediately request assistance and notify the campus authorities (check with your respective division/department for details).

Notify the Campus Emergency number at Ext. 4499. Do not hesitate to call 9-911.

If there are any questions or comments regarding this manual, contact the Safety and Security Department at 546-4633.

The college has a campus-wide Safety and Security Committee with representation from the campus community. Meetings are held monthly. For information regarding this committee please call 546-4633.
